Acupuncture is a modality that is used in Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture can be used for a variety of conditions. It is commonly used for relaxation,internal medicine d/o's, stress reduction, and pain symptoms. Acupuncture truly offers a way for one to balance and reconnect with their highest selves. Acupuncture sessions include a consultation, exam, acupuncture tx., and may also incorporate cupping, moxa, elecroacupuncture, tdp mineral light therapy, herbal medicine, dietary/nutritional, & /or lifestyle recommendations.

Herbal/Nutritional Consultation:
Herbal Medicine is sometimes recommended to patients that are receiving Acupuncture or used on its own, in order to supplement or kick-start the body into the healing process. Herbal Medicine Consultations include a consultation, exam, prescription, dietary/nutritional &/or lifestyle recommendations.
Massage:
Look no further! An Sen offers an array of massage choices, including: Signature Aromatherapy, Swedish/Relaxational, Deep tissue, Hot stone, Shiatsu, Thai, Chi nei tsang(new!) Sports injury relief, Foot, Head, Neck and Shoulder! What are your problem areas? We’ll focus on those so you can walk out with a happy body! Our highly skilled, time tested, massage therapists are carefully chosen to ensure your treatments are therapeutic and the best that Portland has to offer! An Sen uses hand made, organic, aromatic oils that soothe, warm, and nourish the skin and senses!

Acu-Massage:
The perfect combination!
“Stressed Out Worker” Experience first a relaxing Acupuncture treatment which works to balance and ground the energy, & alleviate nagging work related issues- such as carpal tunnel, neck/shoulder tightness, eye strain, aggressive boss energy, mental fatigue, and lack of sunlight---followed by an ultra calming massage (varying from light to deep, depending on your needs) using aromatherapy oils that are selected to work on your own individual constitution.
“Athlete in Training” You asked for it! Encompassing specialized Acupuncture techniques to activate and soften tight muscles in those places that massage alone could never reach! Then let it all go with a much deservered deep tissue massage using herbal oils which warm, move and relax any remaining tension!
Foot Reflexology Massage:
Pamper and ground yourself with a very relaxing reflexology massage! Reflexology is the art of massaging the foot and specific tender points which help to increase circulation and energy flow to the rest of the body, as well as aid in clearing out toxins. Includes consultation and massage.
Pure & Simple (40min): Reflexology on its own.
Indulge: (60min) Reflexology + a nourishing, warm chinese herbal foot soak, and an Ear Acupuncture treatment- which calms the nervous system, detoxifies the body, and stimulates deep energy reserves.
Pediatric Tuina/Acupressure:
Pediatric Tuina is a version of Chinese Therapeutic Massage that is capable of influencing the energetic flow in a child in much the same way as acupuncture does in adult patients. It is particularly beneficial for children from birth to 6 years of age. It can be used for a variety of childhood complaints and illnesses. Included are a consultation, exam, tuina massage techniques, and may also incorporate dietary/nutritional &/or lifestyle recommendations so that your child may stay healthy and well!
Chi Nei Tsang Massage:
Chi Nei Tsang Chi Nei Tsang(CNT) was originally developed by Taoist monks in monastic communities of China thousands of years ago. It was practiced as a piece of the whole of Traditional Chinese Medicine to bring optimal function and unity of mind, body and spirit. Most chi nei tsang massage contact occurs in the abdominal area between the pubic bone and the base of the sternum. CNT internal organ therapy treats the whole body and existing energy pathways, (i.e. the Meridian System, like that used in acupuncture), which correlate with the properties and function of organs. Unprocessed emotional charges are also addressed in this manner, as well as all of the body systems: digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, nervous, endocrine, urinary, reproductive and muscular-skeletal stability. Great detoxification, muscle strengthening and regulation of homeostatic fortitude can help bring peace to disturbance. Client and therapist work together communicating through breathe and holding space without intensive effort. This creates a safe place where the client can let go and experience this treatment fully. As transformation occurs physical and emotional toxicity is purged.
Facial Rejuvenation/Cosmetic Acupuncture:
Facial Rejuvenation incorporates a whole body ‘constitutional’ Acupuncture treatment along with specific facial needles; and is combined with an exfoliation, individualized herbal mask, toner, and aromatherapy moisturizer. This treatment truly bridges the gap between spa and clinical, for it treats the individual, can work on fine lines and wrinkles, dry or oily skin, redness & puffiness, and is oh so pampering! Includes consultation, exam, acupuncture tx, & topical applications. May also include dietary/nutritional, &/or lifestyle recommendations.

Patient Paperwork :
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your massage appointment time so you can relax & unwind. We will
offer you a complementary herbal tea as you fill out our short spa questionnaire. If you will be receiving Pre-Natal/Pregnancy Massage, or Acu-Massage please fill out the Medical History Form prior to your appointment.
Cancellation Policy:
We appreciate your business which is why we reserve your appointment time specifically for you. In the event you need to cancel or reschedule your appoinment, please notify us @ least 24 hours in advance, in order to avoid a 50% service charge.
Reserving Your Appointment:
A credit card number is required to book your appointment time. However, you are not required to use that credit card at time of service.

Cash, Checks, and Credit Cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express & Discover) are all acceptable forms of payment.

and we will check to see if the therapy you wish to receive is covered.
New Patient Forms:
If you have not been seen before at An Sen Clinic you are required to fill out new patient paperwork before your treatment can be given. Please click on the links below to download the New Patient Paperwork or allow yourself at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time if you are coming in for any of the following services: Acupuncture, Herbal/Nutritional Consultation, Pediatric Tuina, Facial Rejuvenation, or Acu-Massage. Please also give yourself 15 minutes prior to your Massage or Foot Reflexology treatment to fill out a short spa questionnaire.
